Professional Counseling Services

Every person has a unique story, and counseling should reflect that. I provide personalized, evidence-based care in Cypress, Texas, tailored to your individual needs, goals, and experiences. I work with children ages 5 and older, as well as adults.

Who I Help

Children (Ages 5–12)

I help children build confidence, express emotions, and develop healthy coping skills through age-appropriate counseling. I incorporate play therapy techniques and CBT, as well as DBT when appropriate, to support emotional, behavioral, social, and family-related concerns.

Adolescents (Ages 13–17)

Adolescence comes with unique challenges, from school and friendships to identity, self-esteem, anxiety, and emotional well-being. When appropriate, I use approaches such as CBT and DBT to help teens build healthy coping skills, build resilience, and navigate these challenges with greater confidence.

Adults

I provide personalized counseling for women and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, fertility and reproductive challenges, grief, stress, and major life transitions. Together, we’ll work to better understand the challenges you’re facing, develop practical coping strategies, and build on your existing strengths.

What is Trauma Therapy?

Trauma can affect the way you think, feel, and respond to everyday situations. Trauma therapy helps you process difficult experiences, better understand their impact, and develop healthy coping strategies in a safe, supportive environment. The approach we use will depend on your age, needs, and treatment goals. I offer EMDR for adults and use approaches such as CBT, play therapy techniques, and DBT as appropriate when working with children and adolescents.

What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process traumatic or distressing memories so they become less overwhelming. It is commonly used to treat trauma but can also help with anxiety, depression, grief, and other emotional challenges.
